Our hostel is located in the heart of San Antonio de Portmany, a tourist centre of reference in Ibiza that is full of multiple shops, shops, restaurants and terraces. The jovial and casual atmosphere of this town is perfect for adults and children, who will always find something to do. You can go shopping, go out for dinner or even dance until the early hours of the morning.
Staying at Hostal Marí, you will be able to access many places of interest in the town on foot and in just a few minutes. We recommend you take a walk through the streets of the town and the old town and discover the parish church; Columbus' Egg, a monument dedicated to the discovery of America; the promenade; the marina; the Aquarium of Es Cap Blanc; or visit the well-known Café del Mar and Mambo, among others. In the vicinity of the hostel there is a bus stop that connects with the best beaches (Cala Compte, Cala Bassa, Cala Tarida...), nightclubs (Amnesia, Ushuaïa, Pachá, Hï Ibiza...) and beach clubs (Cala Bassa Beach Club, in Sant Josep, and O Beach Ibiza, in San Antonio) on the island. In addition, our accommodation has very good communications to access many of the most interesting places on the island, such as, for example, just fifteen minutes by bus, the historic centre of Ibiza town, Dalt Vila, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and its old neighbourhood of La Marina, where you can lose yourself in its network of streets full of the best boutiques and charming venues. Also, very close to Hostal Marí there is a pier from which boats depart that can take you to Cala Salada, Cala Tarida, Cala Compte and Cala Bassa, among other places.
From the hostel you can easily access these two small beaches of fine sand and crystal clear waters on foot, by car, by bike or by bus. They are located in an enclosed bay, protected from strong winds and currents. In addition, due to the shallow waters and their calm atmosphere, they are ideal for families with children.
In Cala Gració you will find a wide variety of services, a beach bar and lifeguard, as well as walkways that facilitate access to the beach, very useful for people with reduced mobility or who wish to access the beach with baby carriages. Right next to Cala Gració you can enjoy Cala Gracioneta, a smaller and somewhat quieter cove. The only drawback is that, due to its small size, it fills up quite easily. In any case, both beaches are ideal for snorkeling and watching magnificent sunsets.
A few minutes' walk from our hostel you will find the promenade of Sant Antoni, where you can enjoy a wide and varied range of restaurants, bars and terraces. They are ideal for going out for dinner as well as for a drink and getting to know the nightlife so characteristic of Ibiza.
